Service Description
Sunday, August 13th from 1-4:30 pm Limit to 11 people Description: Learn how to make delicious Butter, Yogurt, Ricotta and Fromage Blanc from organic, farm fresh, raw milk! The class is set up in our humble kitchen for hands-on learning, food tasting and discussions that can take us all over the place... from the nutrient value of farm fresh milk, the joys of homestead farming, buying fresh food from your local farmers, food preservation having a family cow, and more. Class participants will make enough cheese and butter to bring some samples home. A handout with directions for everything we will be making will be provided. Supplies: we will have farm fresh raw milk, citric acid, butter muslin cloth, yogurt cultures and cheese cultures for sale after the class so that you can go home with all the ingredients to get started! Cost: $50 per person
