Dowsing Definition: The search for information by means of a hand-held instrument and faculties beyond the 5 physical senses.
Throughout the calendar year, we offer classes and private sessions that open portals into unseen worlds for the participant(s) to experience and explore. Our farm is a perfect medium for people to learn more about their own personal journey. The land is alive with nurturing, healing energy, ready to embrace and support you.
Classes:

1) Dowsing for Spiritual Growth Next Class TBD This introductory dowsing class Offers hands-on and theoretical learning, with exercises in using your dowsing tools and opening yourself up to receive information from your higher self and your spirit guides. (3.0 hours). Cost: $50

2) Dowsing and Agriculture - Next Class is Saturday, May 25, 2024. This class Offers hands-on and theoretical learning about dowsing and working co-creatively with the natural world. Class will include exercises in using your dowsing tools and guidance in using dowsing to plan and lay out your edible and ornamental gardens. (3.5 hours). Cost: $50 or 2 people for $90. 3) Spiritual Gardening using Dowsing, Shamanic, & Biodynamic Practices. Next Class TBD This full day class is open to beginner and intermediate students. If you have taken any of our introductory classes, you will be ready to dive into a more detailed look at how we can use our dowsing as well as apply Biodynamic and Shamanic practices to your land management. (6 hours; BYO lunch). Cost: $90

4) Intermediate Dowsing Class: finding water, accuracy in dowsing and more. - Next Class TBD. This full day class, taught by Steve Herbert, will take you deeper into the world of dowsing, where participants will work on dowsing accuracy, finding potable water (for your personal well), will introduce participants to Geomancy, Dowsing and Agriculture, map dowsing, and more. Beginner Dowsing Review will be from 9:30 - 10:30 am for an additional fee. (6 hours. BYO lunch)

Management Intensive Grazing for the Diversified Farm

Interested in improving your grazing skills or new to Management Intensive Grazing? This class will employ the teachings of Holistic Management along with the techniques of Management Intensive Grazing (MIG) to assist you in improving pasture productivity and raising healthy livestock. Experience Hand-Milking a Cow!
Description: Interested in hand milking a cow? Curious to find out what daily feeding and milking looks like on our Homestead Farm? Join us for a morning or afternoon of setting up pasture (their daily feed ration), and milking a cow by hand. Visitors get an opportunity to hand milk a cow, groom & pet the cow & calf, and bottle-feed a calf! Great conversations are sure to abound during this special event.
Available mid July - early November, 2024
Estimated Time & Cost: 60-90 memorable minutes. $50-$75 sliding scale.

Butter, Yogurt & Cheese Making Classes!

Description:
Have fun in the kitchen with Farm Fresh Raw Milk!
Learn a few different ways to make yogurt - successfully and consistently.Get introduced to a couple different soft cheeses that are easy and fun to make. Learn the tricks for making delicious butter and using butter molds.
Learn in an intimate setting with a small group; get ready to laugh and taste some delicious creations.
Class will include a handout. Cheese cultures, yogurt cultures, citric acid, butter muslin cloth and organic grass-fed raw milk will be for sale, so you can start creating delicious treats for friends and family right away.
Cost: $50 per person or 2 people for $90. Limit to 12 people.
